“I’m Ready” will help your child get organized in the morning on time and with a smile. It is a task game which makes the morning routine fun and helps reduce the stress in the house. When tasks are completed on time, kids gain awards to get new characters for the game.

Parents feedback on the game:
"I just wanted to say this app has been wonderful, giving my daughter independence and stopped me from screaming in the mornings! She has organization problems and this has been fantastic, providing her with a written and timed to do list, which helps her keep on track.

Many thanks

The game can be personalized to your morning routine – choose the tasks, set their order, configure the time per task, including minimum time (for example, brushing teeth should take at least 2 minutes and not more than 10) and even the ability to define your own custom task (for example, feed the gold fish) with your own personalized picture.

With each completed task, kids gain virtual coins and reward stars. The coins can be used to purchase more characters. Your child can choose their character every day before starting to play. Stars can be used to award your child with a longer term “When…Then” reward, such as “When you get 10 stars, then we will go to the zoo”. This is a tool for you as a parent to see progress and provide your own reward to your child.

The game can be played by one child but the Full version supports playing by two players - either two siblings or a child and parent. Playing together is much more motivating as well as more fun for the whole family. There is also an option in the Full version for one child to play against a virtual player. In all cases, each player needs to complete the tasks personally on time – this is not a race between the players.

We have seen that the improvements in the morning routine come from several factors - motivating the child, training to do the tasks as well as educating why the tasks are important. Combining all of these will bring best results.
- Short term improvements are based on increased motivation from the new game and its rewards of new characters.
- Long term improvements are acquired through education, practice and making the tasks a routine.
Developing these life skills will enhance your children’s self-confidence and give them independence.

The application encourages independence and confidence by teaching the kids basic life skills:

1. Morning routine tasks and their order– Soon your child will memorize the order of the tasks by heart and will not need you to tell him what to do any more

2. Time – Each ball in the sand clock takes one minute. A five-minute task is represented by five balls. Your child will quickly learn the time concept and how to evaluate and spend his time wisely

3. Dental hygiene and how to brush teeth effectively. A follow-me animated guide will teach your child a recommended brushing technique

4. Healthy nutrition, emphasizing the importance of consuming a low amount of sugar and eating a balanced breakfast with protein, carbohydrates, vegetables, and fruits

5. Weather and how to fit your clothing to today’s weather

Last but not least – For your child to succeed, you must be personally involved and must explain, encourage, and appreciate your childs successes as well as the effort made. Parental involvement is critical in this phase of your childs life. We recommend that you focus on the positive feedback and you will be rewarded by shorter organization times and positive results from day one!
